How much time does Koko take?
Each workout takes just 30 minutes or less. We recommend you do 3 sessions per week for optimal results.

How many programs are available?
There are 16 different programs to choose from, so whether you're looking to lose weight, improve your golf game, strengthen your core, build muscle, or get ready for your wedding, there's a program right for you.

How long is a program?
All regular Koko programs are designed around a 30 minute/3 times per week structure for a total of 24 sessions. So, it will take 8-weeks to complete a Koko program if you workout the recommended 3 times per week.

Will it give me results?
Will it ever...we're so sure Koko will give you results, we're guaranteeing it. If you do not see an improvement in your overall Koko Strength Level after the completion of your first program, you will get the full amount of your training fee back. See Lisa Tinker for specific program details.

Why is it important to increase my Koko Strength Level?
A direct increase in your Koko Strength Level means you are building strength and valuable lean muscle. Why is that important? Increasing your body's lean muscle increases your metabolism so you'll burn more calories and fat all day long, while exercising AND at rest.

Can you tell me more about the programs - how they're structured?
Koko offers twenty distinct 8-wk training programs that consist of three 4-week phases for a total of 24 sessions. Each phase includes daily changes in exercise selection, resistance, volume (sets x reps) and time under tension (pace). A typical session includes 7-10 exercises involving 1-3 sets with 8-12 repetitions. By having all the exercise variables predetermined - you increase the chance of reaching your fitness goals.

What does it cost?
Ask a personal trainer for pricing details.

Once I sign up, how do I know if Koko will be available when I want to workout?
You can reserve your workout time. Check with the Member Service Desk or a Personal Trainer for more details on how to schedule your Koko session.

What's a Koko Key?
Think of the Smartrainer® as a DVD player and your Koko Key as the DVD. The Koko Key stores your multi-week exercise program so you can pick up your program right where you left off. And you can take it with you because your Koko Key will work in any Smartrainer®, anywhere.

What if I lose my Koko Key?
After each session, we encourage your to back up your Koko Key on the Koko SmartStation® before you leave so you never lose your workout history. If you lose your key, a new Koko Key can be loaded with your workout history so you can pick up right where you left off.

What is the Koko SmartStation®?
The Koko SmartStation® is a kiosk-like system that allows you to back up your workouts. Simply pop your key into the SmartStation® after each session and your workout history will be backed up in a matter of seconds. This does a couple of things: First, it covers you in the event you lose your Koko Key. And second, backing up on the Koko SmartStation® allows you to access all your information online at www.MyKokoFitness.com through your password protected area on the site.

What are Koko Points?
At the end of each session, Koko Points tell you how well you did on your workout. The more Koko Points you have, the better your workout. All you need to do is follow Koko's recommended paces, weights, and session times and you'll have a great Koko score every time. Koko points put everybody on the same level, no matter your age, gender, or strength level so you can compare your sessions to others, apples to apples.

What's a good Koko Points score?
The maximum number of Koko Points per session is 1000, though it is VERY challenging to get there. You want to shoot for a minimum score of 700. If you are over 800 that's very good. If you reach over 900, that's outstanding!

What are Diet Activity Points?
Some popular diet programs use activity points as a way to track daily exercise. At the end of each workout, Koko automatically calculates the number of activity points you earned so if you participate in one of these diets, you can factor your activity level right into your diet program.

How do I sign up?
It's easy! Simply see a Personal Trainer or the Member Service Desk. They can get you started right away.

Why do you ask for an email address at sign up?
One of the many benefits of Koko is that you can visit www.MyKokoFitness.com and access your Koko workout history and view your progress results over time - such as overall strength gains. But, for security purposes, your email address is one field that is required to verify your identity on our website. Further, you can opt in to have personalized reports on your progress emailed directly to you.

Why do you ask for my address?
If you were to lose your Koko Key, we retrieve your data with your Koko user name and address information for verification purposes. To ensure your backed-up data can be retrieved in the case of a lost key, you need to provide it.

What do you do with my information?
Koko Fitness is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. The data generated by your activity at program sign up, while exercising and visiting www.MyKokoFitness.com is provided to Koko Fitness, Inc. and your health club for such purposes as reporting on your progress, improving your Koko Smartrainer® exercise experience and customizing future interactions with you. Koko Fitness does not capture or store any of your personal financial information as a function of the program sign up process.

How do I (re)sign up for another program?
Select from one of the 20 different Koko Programs and ask a Fitness Representative to "Assign a New Program" to your Koko Key with a new customized Koko Program!

How do I know which program to choose next?
Follow the easy to read Koko Program Progression Guide. This will help you select the right program to achieve the results you're looking for!

Do I use my same Koko Key when I sign up for another program?
Yes! All of your previous workout history, along w/ the new program you select, will be stored onto your Koko Key. The key will remember your ROM (range of motion) settings so you will only re-measure ROM when being introduced to a new exercise.

Why do I have a Strength Test at the beginning of my new program - I just completed a Strength Test at the end of my previous program?
The Strength Test at the beginning of your program allows the Smartrainer® to calculate your base line fitness level and recommend a starting weight for you. The Strength Test at the end of your program will show your progression over 24 sessions and calculate the strength gains you've made over an 8 week period.

What are Fusion Programs?
A new way to offer group training to members.

How many Fusion Programs are there to choose from?
There are three multi-session programs, each designed for easy execution, with built-in flexibility to enable each trainer, if they so choose, to customize area to reflect their own personal style

How long are Fusion Programs?
Each Koko Fusion program is a multi-week/10 session program designed to be held twice weekly. Each session is 50 minutes in duration: 30 minutes on Koko and an additional 10 minutes of warm up and 10 minutes of cool down off Koko.

Does each Fusion- Group participant get their own key?
Yes. Each participant will have their own Koko Key set up with the Koko Fusion program.

What if a member misses a Fusion session? Can they make it up?
Each multi-week Fusion class is structured in a way that allows a member(s) to miss a class, and pick up with the rest of the group on your next session. Consult your Personal Trainer to find out if your missed session may be made up prior to the next class.

What if a member wants to sign up for a Koko Plus class after they've completed a Koko Fusion program? Will they need a new Koko key, or can they use their Koko Fusion key to begin the next program?
After completing a Koko Fusion program a member may sign up for a Koko Plus program and use the same key for Koko Fusion. Remember! When an existing user progresses to the next program, the Koko Key remembers their workout history from the previous program(s) and will not be prompted to measure ROM on any exercises they've seen in previous programs.

Is a Strength Test the first and last session of a Fusion Program?
Yes. A Strength Test will determine your strength gains from the first to the last session of your Fusion program. You may view your results on www.MyKokoFitness.com - as long as you provided an email address when you signed up for your Koko program.

What are Koko Plus Programs?
A collection of 8 week / 24 session Koko Smartrainer® Programs that incorporate 4 Trainer Assisted Koko sessions.

How does this differ from the regular Koko Smartrainer® Programs?
The difference is that FOUR of the sessions (Session 1, 7, 14, and 21) are designed to have a trainer work with the member. The member will work alone on Koko for the other 20 sessions.

I already know how to do the exercises. Why do I need a trainer to assist me?
The trainer-assisted programs include more complex movements and introduce you to some fun and challenging exercises - exercises you can do safely and confidently with a trainer by your side.

How does a member sign up for a Koko Plus or Fusion Program?
Koko Plus and Fusion programs can be accessed by staff through Koko Smart Setup and would be loaded onto a Koko Key, just like your existing Koko Smartrainer programs.
